Who is Dropkat?
Dropkat is a Brooklyn-based artist and resident DJ at House of Yes NYC. His music bounces between Tech House and Dance Pop. He is there to serve the vibe and the dance floor. He keeps his style unique, knowing the world doesn't need another copy cat.
Influenced by music from Dirtybird Records, Green Velvet, Tiga, LCD Soundsystem, Beck, Talking Heads, and more. He has opened for The Knocks and played at festivals like Bonnaroo, Life is Beautiful, and Elements. In 2010, Dropkat made House of Yes his home and the club has shaped him into a party machine.
Dropkat loves his cats. They inspire his designs, videos, and animations. Methodically editing purrs and meows, he keeps up the hype with a bass heavy, four on the floor, electronic sound.
